The season and day of Pentecost starts May 19th and continues through the summer and fall until Reformation. Pentecost, Greek for "fiftieth" was known as the "feast of the harvest" or the "day of first-fruits." It is a celebration in the Christian Church for the day that the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles and other disciples following the ascension of Jesus. It marks the beginning of the Christian Church's mission to the world. Please come celebrate with Prince of Peace!
