Pastor Gloria Imamura!
Pastor Gloria was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She worked as a lay church minister in Seattle when she met her husband Al on a trip to Kalaupapa, Molokai. She earned her Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2010 and was called as an associate minister to Central Union Church and later served at Makiki Christian Church. Prince of Peace is thankful for God's faithful servant; Pastor Gloria!
Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year in Christianity. Advent is the period of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and also the preparation for the Second Coming of Christ. The celebration of Advent takes place on the four Sundays prior to Christmas and follows four weekly themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love and ends on Christmas Eve.
